| BAS
exposes youth and adults to art through the Project Create
Education Program. Classes in pottery,
photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, etc. are available
to children (8-17) and adults of various skill levels. Classes are offered every fall,
winter, and spring.
The instructors are professional
teaching artists who expect a committed and creative approach from
their students. BAS hopes to cultivate creative skills and focus
in young people, which will help prepare them for the real-life
challenges of study, work, skill-building, and planning.
Adult courses are designed to impart an appreciation of the subject
matter, as well as skill with the media.
