ACCESSIBILITY
The Buffalo Arts Studio strives to make all of its exhibits, public programs, and special events accessible to all audiences. Our goal is to offer attendees with disabilities a positive experience in a safe, clean, comfortable, and friendly environment.
Event Description
– Tri-Main Center covers two full blocks along Main Street, and each floor is nearly 1,000 feet long. Visitors will encounter industrial concrete floors that may have uneven surfaces and raised transitions in the lobby and hallways.
– There is a long distance between Buffalo Arts Studio and the elevator on the 5th floor. The Tri-Main Center has limited wheelchairs available for use during the event. If you are worried about mobility and navigating the long hallways, please reach out to lauren@buffaloartsstudio.org so we can try to reserve a wheelchair for you.
– Seating options are available in the Buffalo Arts Studio gallery.
Parking
– All parking and event entrances are located on the Halbert Street side of the building.
– Wheelchair and mobility device-accessible parking spaces are available in the Visitor and Access parking lots on Halbert between Phelps and Jewett Ave.
Entrance
– A wheelchair lift is available immediately to your left upon entering the building.
