Kathleen Sherin began to explore printmaking as a graduate student in painting at the University of Buffalo (MFA 1985) and since has evolved unique methods of creating her one-of-kind prints. Sherin uses various combinations of techniques to create her energized abstract prints. Sherin’s work is in the permanent collections at Roswell Park and Burchfield-Penney as well as many private collections. She has exhibited her prints in over 100 feature and group exhibitions throughout the United States. From November 14, 2025 – January 10, 2026, her can be seen in downtown Buffalo at the C. Stuart and Jane H. Hunt Gallery. Kathy has been a resident artist at Buffalo Arts Studio since 2002.
