Fascination is a collection of artwork from both current Buffalo Arts Studio Jump Start students and Jump Start Extension–students who graduated from high-school and are now enrolled in college. This exhibit pinpoints specific attributes of what makes the Jump Start program unique within the firmament of youth-centered arts programming in Western New York; specifically the fascination and awe that young people feel as they embark on creative lives, academic pursuits, and professional careers, all while continually making artwork. Fascination charts the progress of the Jump Start program over the last two years, as seen through the eyes, experiences, and art practice of Jump Start students.
