Explore alcohol ink and its application in painting to create a one-of-a-kind floral painting on Yupo paper. In this class, students will use alcohol inks to mimic watercolor’s fluidity and movement effect in bold and vivid colors and draw from flower references to emphasize a flower’s properties like petal shape, stems, and floral groupings. Experiment with ink application and leave with a basic understanding of how to pursue the medium further. Students will pay a $15 supply fee to the instructor on the night of the class, this includes a 11″ x14″ matte package ready to frame!
